Micro-Tronics Hires VP for Bus/Dev
Micro-Tronics, Inc. of Tempe, Arizona, an aerospace machine shop producing precision components for aircraft, space, and defense industries, is proud to announce the addition of William G. Gregory to their executive staff as the Vice President of Business Development. Bill previously served as a pilot in the United States Air Force, serving as a fighter pilot, test pilot, and astronaut pilot with NASA’s Space Shuttle Program. Bill was the pilot on Endeavour during shuttle mission STS-67, flying nearly seven million miles in space from March 2-18, 1995. Barry Metals Celebrates 20 Years in the Valley!
Barry Metals Company has just finished its 20th year of business. Howie Basuk and his father started the company in January of 1988. Howie’s father additionally had a scrap metal recycling company back in Charles City, Iowa. BMC has grown to 14 employees and continues to service the machine shops and industrial accounts in the Phoenix metro area. Howie says, “The name “Barry” was my brother’s name. Barry passed away at the age of 17 from Leukemia back in 1977. But his name”continues to “ live on” as each day passes”.
