KD Capital is pleased to announce the addition of Andy Kamashian to their sales team. Andrew joins the team to head up the Fabrication Metalworking Division and EDM machinery Sales. Andy is a Graduate of the National Tooling and Machining Association Apprenticeship program and served as a Tool and Die Maker’s apprentice before becoming a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker in 1990. After several years of working directly in machine shops in southern California, he utilized his knowledge as an application engineer for one of the major EDM manufacturers and later transitioned into machinery sales. Andy later become regional manager for another major European EDM manufacturer and represented the sales team in the southeast United States. With more opportunities afoot in metal fabrication, Andy took his years of machinery sales and management experience to lead the Eastern and Southeastern Sales division of a Major Waterjet manufacturer. This experience transitioned him into the industry of metal fabrication. Andy then joined a major southeastern fabrication machinery distributor and spent the next years utilizing his training and experience to hone his application oriented approach to selling for the metal fabrication market.
